The making and wearing of Easter Bonnets are traditions that were popular some years ago and were an important part of the Easter celebrations for many of the women who nos live in Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross.
So, Joan Mee, the Activities Support Worker in Castleross worked with the female residents to create their own Easter Bonnet for 2021.
This was done during the Arts & Crafts Activities Programme in the Nursing Home.
Easter Bonnets can come in many different shapes, styles, and sizes and are normally adorned with spring flowers, which is the look the Castleross ladies went for.
